Project Brunch at 4553 Arthur Kill Road, Staten Island, New York.

The last time I ate here over a year ago with my family, the place was packed and we had to wait over an hour to be seated. When we were finally seated, the quality of the food, service and ambience of the restaurant made up for the wait. Today I went there with a bunch of members of my running club for breakfast. We met at 8:00am, the time when the place opened. It was mostly empty and we got seated and served immediately. I ordered a 3-egg make-it-yourself omelette with spinach and feta cheese. I was given the option of choosing from three different breads, white, wheat, or multi-grain; I chose multigrain. Our orders were served quickly. The texture and flavor of my omelette was perfect. The multi-grain bread tasted fresh. It was served with a little cup of butter that tasted home-made. The place has a very artsy-homey feel to it and therefore very welcoming. The decor appeared to be created by local artisans and made the place visually-interesting. There are many breakfast and lunch options to choose from. I actually had a problem choosing from the menu's vast selection of breakfast items. I plan to return again soon to order from their lunch menu.
